During the recent years I have been actively involved in Finnish sailing community and everything related, primarily through Teekkaripurjehtijat, a student sailing club at Aalto University. In 2023 I held Head of Maintenance position and later, during 2024, I led a boat refurbishment project of our club's Finn Express 83 s/y ElecTrip (see blog).
When it comes to competences, during 2023 season I obtained club's internal skippering rights and as of 2024 I hold an ICC (International Certificate of Competence). In addition to leisure sailing, I have regularly partaken in regattas in Helsinki area as well as in other parts of Finland.
When not sailing, I enjoy making music, hiking, skiing (alpine) and running.
